The association brings together elected officials and employees of the Chamber of Commerce in the service of the brewing industry. Our common goal is an economic, legal and socio-political environment in which breweries find the best possible conditions for their entrepreneurial activities. The central task of the Association of Breweries is to represent the interests of the industry, in the Austrian Economic Chambers and externally. Contact persons of the association are above all authorities and social partners, other institutions representing interests, political parties and the media, but also the legislative bodies.

Besides the representation of interests the Austrian Brewers Association sees itself in addition, as service place for its members. In particular, this includes personal advice, ongoing circulars, support with sample processes and special legal advice. The Association of Austrian Breweries is also a platform for international industry contacts, for example as a voice in the European Brewers Association "The Brewers of Europe".
